Our Opinion
Atmosphere: A tranquil and laid-back feel but with an air of luxury. The natural materials and thatched roofs of the buildings create a traditional island feel.
Rooms: Fresh and contemporary decor and good use of space make these rooms a pleasure to spend time in. Most rooms also offer good privacy - ideal for those rooms with private pools/Jacuzzis.
Dining: The main restaurant and bar are on the lagoon side and are both attractive and relaxed. The food is good - however, the buffet can be repetitive.
Activities: Not much in the way of evening entertainment and only a few local excursions. There is snorkelling from the beach on one side of the island - there are also complimentary boat rides twice-daily to the house reef. On the opposite side of the island is a sandy lagoon perfect for swimming and windsurfing. The dive school is very impressive with a wide choice of diving options.
