The Barefoot Eco Hotel
The Barefoot Eco Hotel follows the Ecotourism principles of uniting Sustainability and Conservation,
involving Local Community within its activities. The Barefoot has maximized its Sustainability, intended to have minimal impact on the local environment and reduce its carbon footprint. It is a Natural Health Retreat where body and spirit are nurtured and restored.
The Barefoot is located within an almost untouched forest on Hanimadhoo island in the preserved deep North of Maldives. This 4 star Eco Hotel is well connected to Male international airport by numerous daily 45 minutes flights. Due to its luxuriant vegetation and privacy everybody can fall in an untouched nature, lving the genuine and natural Maldives with all modern accommodation facilities. A half mile private sandy beach and a turquoise lagoon frame the hotel.

The Barefoot Restaurant takes pride in sourcing the best ingredients available, seafood arrives fresh and is served to the guests full of flavor. The Italian Chef specialized in Mediterranean dishes continuously wow the guests with creative and unique combinations, textures and flavors in order to provide a memorable experience, full of heart, care and soul! The Barefoot Restaurant is fully committed to supporting local suppliers. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main sea view restaurant. For private and romantic dinners, seafood menus may be reserved at an extra charge.

The Seaside Rooms are affordable and comfortable accommodations, nicely furnished, with a modern and elegant double sink bathroom. The rooms (44 SQM) have a wide patio door looking onto a cosy wooden veranda just beside our endless white beach. They are part of the same complex with a sandy inner courtyard. Ideal for groups and families wishing to share a unique experience or for team building vacations.

All level courses are available including PADI and SSI ENRICHED AIR DIVER Specialty Course. Free try dive. There are 20-30 spots at a boat distance of approximately 40 minutes, they can be reached by dhoni and/or speed boat. Manta and Dolphin dives in season.
