Designed in an authentic style, built using ecofriendly materials and blended seamlessly into the remarkable landscape of a natural environment, our over water villas creates a sophisticated and intimate ambiance where guests are able to feel truly at home.
*** Resort Update 2023 ***
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance their facilities, Gili Lankanfushi will introduce a new outlet on October 15th, 2023 while they retire the Overwater Bar. Considering the extensive scope of the project, the resort will temporarily close from June 1st to July 31st while the refurbishment work continues from August 1st until October 15th. This closure is necessary to ensure that the majority of the work, especially the noisy aspects, can be completed with minimal disturbance.
After the resort reopens on August 1st, the refurbishment work will continue during daylight hours only, starting at 11 am, after breakfast service, and ending at 7 pm, before dinner service. During this period, the full range of services, including sunset drinks on their iconic beaches and lunch at Kashiveli and By The Sea, will be available to enjoy.

We have a team of personal guest experience hosts at Gili Lankanfushi known as Mr. Fridays. They’re named after Robinson Crusoe’s loyal assistant and dear friend, and will show you the way around the island while making your stay as memorable as possible.
Day or night and no matter what the request, your trusted host is there to help with everything from unpacking luggage to organising dining experiences and excursions or even setting up a bed under the stars. Parents will be pleased to know that they can also keep little ones entertained.
