During Covid times we asked all customers to contact us by email only. This worked very well as we could prioritise response times and ensure we had a full record of conversations. For these reasons we would like to continue with 96% non-telephone contact - if you feel a call is necessary, and cannot be dealt with by email, please first send an explanatory message with any questions you wish to ask and we will call UK numbers or provide our numbers for non UK residents.

Kurumba was the Maldives first private island resort and is one of its finest. Go barefoot, be served on your white sand beach under coconut trees, dine by the moon and candles or dress for dinner and dance into the morning. Read Our Opinion
The Kurumba Maldives housereef is home to live coral growing on ancient volcanic mountains and a thousand different variations of stunning fauna - a paradise for divers.
Named after the coconuts that grow in abundance throughout the island, Kurumba Maldives pioneered tourism in the Maldives in 1972. Completely renewed, it re-opened in 2004 as a resort of distinction, class and style and run with panache.
Shaded paths lead from one side of this 48-acre circular island to the other. The white sand beach embracing the island is lapped by crystal clear waters of an azure lagoon, protected by eco-breakwaters of weathered coral.
Kurumba Maldives is classical in design , a unique holiday resort newly built to ancient Maldivian architecture , with graceful meditation pavilions and a calm induced by a succession of ornamental pools. The serenity of the resort is perfectly matched by the uncompromising luxury of its bungalows and villas. Its lush gardens are lovingly raised over years.
Kurumba Maldives offers attentive hospitality and gracious service in an unspoilt tropical paradise.
180 bungalows and villas are dotted throughout the island within verdant foliage paces from the beach. Every one of its 180 individual villas and rooms is a symphony of good taste and glorious space, orchestrated with the harmony of polished wood floors, high timber-clad ceilings and antique style wooden furniture.
Complemented by a walk-in dressing room and a bathroom of exquisite extravagance with sandstone tiles, a marble-sided tub and a second, out-door art-deco shower in a private open-air patio, each bedroom comes equipped with In - Room safes, Private mini bar, Tea/ Coffee makers, Satellite TV, High speed Internet Connections and Luxury amenities.

A compact, well run resort that, despite being close to the airport, offers a high quality Maldives holiday.
Atmosphere: The resort is set out in a 'village' style with interconnecting paths and even a 'square'. This provides a sense of community within the clientele.
Rooms: The Deluxe Rooms are the same as the Superior Rooms but detached and facing a nicer part of the island.
Dining: An excellent choice of 7 restaurants, each with a different theme - you would be hard pushed to be disappointed with the dining here
Activities: Free snorkelling equipment from the well-equipped watersports centre along with a good choice of watersports. The spa here is one of the best in the country and the diving in this region is known for being good.
