During Covid times we asked all customers to contact us by email only. This worked very well as we could prioritise response times and ensure we had a full record of conversations. For these reasons we would like to continue with 96% non-telephone contact - if you feel a call is necessary, and cannot be dealt with by email, please first send an explanatory message with any questions you wish to ask and we will call UK numbers or provide our numbers for non UK residents.

Meeru Island Resort, fondly known as Meeru by friends, offers a relaxing casual atmosphere. A large island by local standards, much of the island remains untouched, with its natural vegetation intact. It is certainly the resort for you if you would prefer to kick off your shoes and enjoy a casual atmosphere in which to relax. Read Our Opinion
The island is surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, and is the only resort on the island of Meerufenfushi. The speedboat transfer from Male' International Airport is a scenic, 55 minutes ride to this Eastern most resort island in the North Male’ Atoll.
Island Transfers
Please add $149/£98 to the above figures for your Speedboat transfer per person. This transfer price is based on flights arriving and departing during daylight hours - slightly higher fees are applicable for night time transfers.
Minimum Nights
The island has a 6 night minimum policy for each room booking - splitting your time between 2 room types is allowable but there is a 6 night minimum in each.
This island has now offered exclusivity contracts which bar Purely Maldives from selling to China, France, Japan, Korea, Norway, Russia and Switzerland.
Our Opinion
A large, lively island where you will never be bored or left wanting
Atmosphere: A happy, active island which is nearly always full. Hundreds of friendly staff cater for your every need and there really is something for everyone.
Rooms: There are 5 room categories, all of which are luxurious and of a high quality. There are three distinct 'zones' all of which are centred around a pool, bar and food outlet.
Dining: High variety and quality of food - you will not be disappointed
Activities: Each room comes with a list of the activities on offer at this resort and this is extensive. Lots of excursions, sports and watersports - the dive centre accommodates all ages and abilities. The spa is excellent and there is plenty of entertainment offered in the evening. The only downside is the snorkelling from the beach - coral blocks (both natural and man-made) offer only mediocre snorkelling. There are trips but these come at a price
Market - All Market Except Germany, Switzerland, Korea and Thailand
