UNDERWATER EXPLORATIONS IN SUB-ZEN

Explore the dazzling house reef of Maadhoo Island from the comfort of a semi-submarine called SUB-ZEN. Seated just one metre underwater, experience a diver’s view of the reef. The upper body of the vessel remains above the sea surface at all times while the bottom section is a few metres below the water. The large windows of the underwater hull allow you to enjoy spectacular views of the underwater ecosystem, offering an experiential submarine ride in Maldives.

During the day, you can admire the colourful reef and its inhabitants in a safe environment under the guidance of the professional Best Dives team. Unlike during a snorkelling excursion, the guides have the capacity to describe marine animals as you spot them.

After dark, you can admire the entirely different underwater world that unfolds when the sun sets spotting eels, stingrays, sharks and more – encounters that are usually only available to more adventurous divers.

OZEN KIDS’ CLUB

The Maldives is an adventure for every traveller. And, at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, we have taken care to create a unique experience to offer even our youngest guests! If you’re travelling with kids, you’ll find a host kid-friendly features at Maadhoo, from larger rooms to a dedicated kid’s pool and a host of delightful activities. Leave your little ones at the OZEN Kids’ Club where they’ll participate in engaging and captivating activities, play, be entertained, and explore their creativity.

The club offers extensive indoor and outdoor play areas, where you can also celebrate birthdays and special occasions for your children. Located near the beach, the club boasts of a large but shallow natural salt pool. Facilities also include table tennis, darts, table football, a sandpit, and shaded outdoor space.

Supervised by warm and competent staff, the club hosts daily activities to keep the little ones entertained. Nature walks to meet hermit crabs and build sandcastles, treasure hunts, buggy trips around the island, arts and crafts, movie screenings, and plenty of indoor games. Babysitting services are offered at an additional cost. Children under 4 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or babysitter.
