The focus of the enriching gastronomic experience at this cultural restaurant is ‘saffron’: a star ingredient that is used extensively in the Indian subcontinent. At Saffron, we aim to uncover this immense heritage through carefully recreated recipes from India. Relish an elaborate, three-course pre-plated dinner featuring saffron-themed historical dishes and raise a toast to Indian legacy.

VISTA DEL MAR

A sophisticated and soulful dining experience infused with a refreshing ‘By the Ocean’ ethos can be enjoyed at the all-day dining restaurant, Vista del Mar. On the menu is world cuisine with a subtle Spanish touch. Dig into delicacies from around the world that are carefully curated to appeal to the palates of discerning, well-travelled, and affluent guests. The tailored menu covers a range of dishes: from fresh sushi and sashimi to comforting pizzas and pasta; from fragrant nasi goreng to steaming noodle bowls and mouth-watering dim sums; and our most popular addition: the steam section!

Adjacent to the main pool area is the cosy bar that is nestled in the shade of swaying palm trees. Rejuvenate on the sun loungers as you sip a refreshing drink and soak up the tropical island ambience at this spot which many consider to be the most inviting on Bolifushi island!

Explore the stunning reefs around Bolifushi Island without getting wet! Seated just one metre underwater, experience a diver’s view of the reef. The upper body of the vessel remains above the sea surface at all times while the bottom section is 1.3 metres below the water. The large windows of the underwater hull allow you to enjoy spectacular views of the underwater ecosystem, creating the illusion of a real submarine dive.

ECO-FRIENDLY ICE SKATING

Experience a winter wonderland in our tropical paradise at the Open-Air Ice Rink – the first of its kind in the Maldives. Step out of the turquoise blue water and into a pair of skates to pirouette around the vistas of powder-soft beaches and blue skies all at once.

The PADI certified Best Dives centre at Bolifushi Island offers diving in some of the world’s rarest coral reefs as well as diving certifications. Dive into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean to discover exotic sea creatures. Swim over exotic coral formations. Discover butterflyfish nibbling on coral, a spotted eagle ray, and brightly coloured parrotfish. Swim with sea turtles, manta rays, and rarely even a majestic whale shark.
