During Covid times we asked all customers to contact us by email only. This worked very well as we could prioritise response times and ensure we had a full record of conversations. For these reasons we would like to continue with 96% non-telephone contact - if you feel a call is necessary, and cannot be dealt with by email, please first send an explanatory message with any questions you wish to ask and we will call UK numbers or provide our numbers for non UK residents.

Ranveli - literally meaning Golden Sand in the local language, is an island with beautiful sandy beaches, tall palm trees and mirror-like clear water, it is a self-contained paradise.
One of its most distinguishing features, and also its most beautiful, is the long white beach that stretches away from the island. Like a deliberately constructed road to the edge of the sea, this natural stretch of white sand lets you to understand the true meaning of “a walk on the beach”.
The journey from the airport to Ranveli is an adventure itself. The aerial view of the Maldives that you catch from the sea plane is breathtaking. Small green islands with their white beaches and surrounding aquamarine lagoons lie on the cobalt blue ocean. Seen from above it makes a picture that you would not want to miss.
Our Opinion
A small, simple island - no frills but plenty to offer for the underwater explorer
Atmosphere: A small number of rooms means that the island never feels busy and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Rooms: Rooms are basic but in good order with quality furniture and fittings. Rooms are in blocks of 4 and run down the middle of the island. Some ground floor rooms open up onto the beach but only a few.
Dining: Italian influences and a wide variety. Quality varies but is generally good.
Activities: Snorkelling and diving are great here and there are some good excursions to be had. Not much in the way of evening entertainment.
