Excursions
Excursion trips are great highlights, with something for everyone, nature-lover, culture-seeker or sports enthusiast. Choose the Dolphin Cruise; Sunset Fishing; Island Hopping; Sunrise Picnic; Big Game Fishing; or Reef Snorkeling.

Island Hopping
A minimum of eight persons is required for either a half or full day on a Maldivian Dhoni, and a picnic lunch is supplied for a full day trip. You’ll visit various islands, taking time out to snorkel and enjoy refreshments. Out of respect for Muslim culture on local islands visited on this tour, guests are requested to dress modestly. Island Hopping runs twice weekly and is subject to weather conditions.

Sunset Dolphin Cruise
The most popular trip. Track the playful and beautiful dolphins that live around the resort from the specially-crafted Maldivian Dhoni. Excursions operate three times a week and last approximately two hours. Remember dolphins are unpredictable wild animals but the crew will do their best to track them down. Minimum of eight people required.

Reef Snorkeling
Join a trip to some of the largest and most beautiful coral reefs in existence and explore the magical underwater world. As reef snorkeling takes place directly from the boat, it is recommended for strong swimmers only. Operates daily and all snorkeling equipment is included. Tour duration is approximately two hours.

Sunset Fishing
Enjoy the incredibly peaceful sunset hour while you drop a line, chat with companions, and hopefully bring home a catch! Any caught fish can be cooked during the following day’s lunch or dinner at US$20 per person, whole or filleted in the Sand Coast Café. Excursion operates three times weekly and is subject to weather conditions. A minimum of eight persons is required for this excursion.

Big Game Fishing
The charter boat "Black Fin" is available on request for maximum four persons for either a morning or afternoon charter to catch marlin, sail fish, or barracuda. All equipment is provided and the experienced skipper and crew will guide your exciting trip.

Fitness Centre
This recently refurbished state-of-the-art fitness centre allows you to continue your routine in a home away from home. With professional equipment and a qualified gym instructor, you can be sure that your days at the gym will always be full.

Whether you are working up a sweat doing endurance training or strength training, the vast variety of machines give you the option to customise your very own workout program. Of course, the qualified gym instructor will be there to assist you with anything you may require. Check out the activities calendar for scheduled yoga and tai chi classes.

With qualified coaches for both tennis and table tennis, coupled with your well deserved leisure time, there is no better time than now to show your talents! If you do not desire a coach, then just head outdoors and play a few sets of tennis with your friends and family on a sunny day or stay under the roof and play some table tennis.

Whether you are a beginner or a master diver, there is a scuba experience for you. With over 40 world-class diving sites in close proximity to the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, the dive centre is a hub for adventure. As one of the most established dive centres in the Maldives, your diving experience promises to be spectacular and sensational.

Experience the wonders of the underwater world with your loved ones as a vast variety of magnificent marine life is unveiled to you through clear turquoise waters where visibility can sometimes exceed 50 metres!

Tropical Freshwater Pool
Enjoy this beautiful free form, fresh-water pool with adjacent waterfall and children's pool. This relaxed tropical oasis is located outdoors in the heart of the resort, with ample sun loungers.  Snacks and cool drinks can be ordered poolside.

Sheraton Adventure Club
Younger guests—ages 4 to 12—are invited to experience all the fun and games of the Sheraton Adventure Club. An ideal choice for families, the Sheraton Adventure Club offers a wide array of fun and educational activities ranging from mini Maldivian language lessons to video games to keep children entertained throughout their stay.

The club offers activities designed to teach the children about the local Maldivian culture through traditional music and dance as well as mini lessons on Dhivehi, the Maldivian language. Children can also entertain themselves by discovering the hidden cave, or playing sports games on the Nintendo Wii.

Supervised by the enthusiastic activities staff, parents can rest assured that their children are in caring hands.
